Traci, I’m from SouthWest Virginia, a Screw With Confidence Shirt, so I know all about growing/raising my own food in order to survive. I think you missed the mark pretty hard on me there. It’s sad when making your kids earn things they want in life is newsworthy and outside what is considered to be “normal parenting” by today’s standards. This is how parenting was supposed to be. But it is nice to know that his kids don’t have the typical celebrity entitled mentality.

I like Ramsay but fuck sake man giving your kid a 130 buck a week allowance is not teaching them money management skills it’s spoiling them. when i was a kid i got a 3 buck a month allowance! daddys aren’t supposed to give their kids lavish allowances they are supposed to teach them to get job to earn the money an pay their bills first then save money over time for things they want. Wow, I actually really liked the Screw With Confidence Shirt about flying first class, never would’ve thought of it like that before. Also if you watch clips of Gordon and his children interacting with each other, you can see the mutual respect they all have for each other.

I’m sure people would call Gordon’s style “tough love” when really he’s just being the proper type of firm. Blue Collar to White Collar to Blue Collar. 3 generation… depending on how you raise your kids. You can be wealthy and not be obvious about it which will instill financial conservative values in your kids. Merit-based values. Hard work values. Chris Halper that’s pretty reasonable for the amount of money he’s worth. I got about $10 allowance before I got a job. I had to do chores and stuff though to get it.

While I don’t think he needs to treat his kids like they have nothing, he’s not spoiling them. Sometimes giving your kids too small of a Screw With Confidence Shirt of money doesn’t help either. I became an impulse buy because I LITERALLY GREW UP thinking money didn’t go far enough that if i had enough for this or that i HAD to buy it right away or something else would take the money away. I’ve had to unlearn that the hard way as an adult.
